This is the homepage of The
Enchanted Empire (TEE), a Legion of
Hedonism. We play a (MMORPG) game called AEGIS (see above) and are an
empire that
spans the
three servers of the game, independently and through allegiances forged
by Lord Phorse. We have been
around in one form or another
since October 2004. Today we are built as follows:

Lord Phorse is Emperor of TEE,
whether
he is
King of all its kingdoms or not.
The Peaceful Mage Lord Phorse of Adarkis has a home on all three lands
of Aegis, and controls the lives of the Scientist Lord Chimera of
Citadel incognita upon Adarkis; the Zealot Clinky of Adarkian Dragon's
Guild upon Adarkis; the Old King Carrot (retired) of Atlantis upon
Adarkis and
the vengeful SpyKiller of Blood Oasis upon Elderis (who is also in
Atlantis of RD on Adarkis). Each of the
three paths of AEGIS are played by Lord Phorse one way or another, and
each KD we are present in has a strong connection of some sort with us.
Any of these spawn may act on behalf of TEE in military matters as
well, so long as there is no conflict with the KD he resides in.
We have many of our
own unwritten friends, besides those in the empires above, on all the
lands
of Aegis. As such, any assault upon TEE may also involve many others
who have formerly
been quiet, as well as the above empires...
The noble Kattahi, & WilhelmPondieus are our Greater Cerebrates,
and
as such are
authorized in all war & peace negotiations, regardless of where
they reside upon AEGIS.
Lesser Cerebrates, such as Zbarilec and KingHippo have
the right to negotiate peace during times of war, as
well as to create
new allegiances for the entire empire. Diplomats are always over-ridden
by their continental king, who in turn may be over ridden by Lord
Phorse. Kattahi is also our official
scribe,
and as such may post in the forums of the Realms of Aegis on our behalf
from
time to time. WilhelmPondieus is a member of all our lands, and has
been our wandering nomad, acting on our behalf whenever possible. He is
an important part of TEE, where ever he
resides. His experience and experiments with war have earned him the
title of Comrade In Arms, for he knows well the way of the sword.

for joining TEE!

*All vassals are rewarded for bringing in new members,
regardless of the server the new member joins upon. The reward is
negotiated according to the NW & DL value of the new member, and
the needs of the recruiting vassal. All
new vassals are usually sent 100 caravans of GOLD (max. 5M) or some
other
resource. All rewards are subject to availability & caravan
limitations.

And if
you can't raise any of us, assume we want peace. We do not get involved
in fights between friends, except as a peacemaker if both sides agree
to such.

Each kingdom is a different size,
however since we are an empire, we conduct all diplomacy as one. All
peace and war actions carry across the servers. This means that if we
are attacked on one server, we may retaliate from another. We may also
have allies on one server who have branches on another, and they may
aid us in retaliations. In time our diplomatic relations will be added
to this page.
At the moment - November 2007 - we are in a phase of rethinking.
Opportunism during the absence of Lord Phorse and Solitary_Mystic
(former king of AH) almost led to the destruction of much of the
empire, but now that Lord
Phorse is back online, TEE is once again strengthening. We may yet
become a raiding empire. As part of the
rebuild we have notified all the kingdoms and empires of AEGIS of two
important points:
- We may
retaliate
with path attacks, if we can only defend and raise
money.
- We are
to be
regarded as one, so ICA may result if we are attacked.
Over the last year, there has been a
bit of unrest upon Elderis,
including the slaying of the slumbering
Solitary_Mystic,
and the murder of the then King of AH, Lord Phorse,
resulted in the crown shifting first to WilhelmPondieus, then
to
Pyrofreak,
then Lord
Kattahi, and finally back to the Ancient Mage Lord Phorse. War efforts
and treason within TEE while part of 7 Clan resulted in the crown
shifting again, so that WilhelmPondieus now holds the crowns of TEE.
Firming up the friendship with 7 clan is the king of our merlidian
branch, . While King upon elderis,
Wilhelm negotiated our elderin
branch into the
Elemental
Empire. The change was seen as vital to our future, however the
assaults of Devil's Ascendants & Sutherland upon AH under the last
days of the reign of Pyro, and the
ensuing Elemental Quiet has caused AH to return to the fold of TEE.
Pyro abandoned us during the atrocities, and as such is seen as a
traitor to TEE. He threw the crown at Kattahi as he stormed out of the
empire, blaming everyone else for his woes. Kattahi, whilst
unprepared for
the ascension, took on his new job remarkably. He chose to pass the
crown back to his Mage for the benefit of all. TEE had been considering
its
options regarding the empires of AEGIS during all of this, and in time
decided it was safest to join the 7 Clan empire. Circumstances are
again changing and we may yet become independent again, or join another
empire.
We
started back in October 2004
under the leadership of Carrot. Before he was wiped out Lord Phorse had
joined his Kingdom 'The Enchanted Lands' because he promised
peaceful, well defended prosperity. Under his leadership and guidance
Lord Phorse became well known on the Adarkian server, and to this day
still commands respect among many of the ancients of AEGIS.
TEL
formed unions with many of the elite of the game, both directly through
diplomacy and Lord Phorse's multi Lord Chimera, and indirectly through
the 'Republic of Aegis' on Adarkis. When AEGIS expanded to two new
lands, we were there. When the republic spread to the other lands of
Aegis, we were there. When it was disbanded, the ties it created were
not, and we kept many records of these. Lord Phorse ventured forth out
of TEL and began
Aegean Hedonists on Elderis, and Lands of Desire (later renamed
Hedonists Lair) on Merlidia. As time went on the kingdoms had varying
levels of prosperity. Server resets did not help. We now try to keep
all branches chartered, and are increasing the number of Acts of each
kingdom on a regular basis.
And then one day a player joined AH who was to alter the dynamic
forever. Solitary_Mystic rose through the ranks from a lowly peasant of
AEGIS to become the regent of TEE, working as diplomat on all three
realms. In time he became the King of AH, where he remained until MEK
changed the servers to all be part of one site. Lord
Phorse is a Gold player, and so is
working to regain strength once more. HL is rising well from
its ashes, as we have been under severe assault in the past. AH is now
being run by Lord Phorse. In real life SM is recovering from a car
wreck that nearly
killed him, so the Emperor of TEE, Lord Phorse, is running things.
Under his leadership AH is recovering from the severe assaults of
Greece and the opportunism of others like Sutherland.
The participation & loyalty
of Kattahi, WilhelmPondieus &
Zbarilec in
the recovery process and in the forums of the Kingdoms have earned them
each their titles, and shows that while we are an empire nearly as old
as Aegis itself,
we
are by no means stagnant or static. We may have been beaten down, but
our strength lies in our unity of mind more than anything else. The
cerebrates are an important part of that mindset.
Alliances are being re forged
across the lands of AEGIS, and
confidence is being restored to the faithful vassals of TEE. Our
Diplomacy Lists are
here . We are
seeking new vassals to join our ranks all the time. In time, we will
retaliate with
military might against those who have slighted us. The grudge list
may come to here, and will be lengthy in terms of names and time.
Names may be missed here and there, but through our complex record
keeping methods and our allies we will find all who tried to plunder
us in some way in the past, and exact our revenge upon them where we
feel we must. Some will
burn, some will fear God. Others will simply watch as their cities
crumble and their plans disappear.

We are also
seeking justice. AH suffered severely from Human spying.
There were vassals who were part of the kingdom merely for the purpose
of gathering information on behalf of Greece & others.. Human
spying has always outraged Lord Phorse,
and has been an issue since the early days of Adarkis. And so, it was
decided
to do something, again. SpyKiller was forged out of the broken bodies
and
homes of AH and may someday lead a new Kingdom of Justice - The Legion
of Spy
Hunters. The legion will be set up with the purpose of hunting down and
destroying those who would join kingdoms with the sole purpose of
harvesting information. Military spies are fine. Human spies are not.
The Legion will have a page here too, as a record of the fact that it
was Lord Phorse of AH who started the Legion, through SpyKiller. For
now, SpyKiller
resides & learns in the halls of Blood Oasis & Atlantis, as
mentioned above.
